Well at the end of June we had a clinic with Liam Fisher here at Clough House, It was a good turnout having about 6 lessons in the evening. we also had a bbq whilst this was going on and managed to raise £100 for Overgate Hospice which we was all very pleased with! We are all looking forward to the next one!

15th August here at Clough House we are having a show/bbq in memory of Alma Horsfall it is £10 to enter as many classes as you want! All the money that we raise for the show and the bbq will go to Overgate Hospice. All donations would be grately received. Ring on 07745525345 to find out more information or for a schedule.

Out and About!

Mrs Blacksmith has been out and about on her horse Pru and doing a grand job! Dressage, show jumping, cross country theres no stopping her! keep up the good work Katherine.

Holly and Elliott will be attempting there third dressage outing at crow wood! fingers crossed it all goes well!

We have got two new gorgeous foals from Blackthorn this year! Touchstone Shakespeare and Touchstone Over the Rainbow we shall get some pictures on here as soon as poss.

The Donkeys!

We have 5 French donkeys, 2 Jennys with foals at foot and one Jack who is entire. When fully grown they are about 13.2-14hh and they all have good temprements and are good for our farrier Sam and the vet. They are a beautiful dark chocolate brown. They will all make super friends and companions.

Bobby is a yearling colt foaled May 2009. He is out of Rites of Spring and is ID x TB he will be eligible for Sports Horse registration. Bobby should make 16 hh. Bobby is such a sweet boy who is good to handle and lead, and is proving to be level headed. He is such a favorite with the grooms and he loves to be groomed! He is happy to have a rug on and stands quietly for our farrier Sam.Who knows he could be an eventer in the making! Sold

Touchstone Goldthorn

Goldie is a 2 year old filly born April 2008. She is out of our small hack Maraday Somer Symphony who is by the famous Somerset Maughan. Goldie is Anglo- Arab x ID, a fabulous cross that has that bit more pzazz! Goldie has some wonderful floating paces just like her mum. She is good to lead, goes on the horse walker and is good with the farrier. She should make 15.2 hh and has the potential to make a county standard small riding horse or a career in dressage perhaps.

Alice is a 2 year old filly born April 2008. She is TBx Connemara, by Canal Lauras Lad out of Rites of Spring. Alice should make 15hh, she is friendly, good to lead and with the farrier,also she is happy to have a rug on. Alice has some lovely straight paces and will make someone a great friend. She is just waiting for the right person to start her fairy tale. Sold

Tilly is a 2 year old filly foaled May 2008. She is out of Rose XXXV and is by the stallion Snowford Benson she is IDx TB and should make 16hh, she will be eligible for registration as an Irish Sports horse. Tilly is such a people person right from the moment she was born she loved her cuddles and just being with you. She is happy to stand with the farrier, will lead from both sides,goes on the horse walker, is happy to have a rug on and is good to worm. She is also very fond of her food! Sold

Touchstone Modern Milly

Milly is a yearling filly foaled in May 2009. She is eligble RID and is out of Princess Rose who won a combined training class at the 2008 Irish Draught Breed show and has also competed in affiliated showjumping and elementary dressage. Milly should make 16.2 and be suitable as a middle weight hunter. Milly has a super temprement and is always willing to please.She is good to lead, stands for the farrier and is happy to have a rug put on. She will make a super horse for someone. Sold

Touchstone Lavender

Lavender is a thoroughbred yearling filly foaled in March 2009. She is by the stallion Needwood Blade(GB) out of Peacock Blue. She should make 15.2 hh. She is registered with Weatherbys. Well what can we say she is such a sweety who loves being brushed and leads well. She has a lovely straight movement and will make a potential small riding horse or perhaps a teenagers riding club horse. Sold
