At present the only Stallion Standing in Great Britain representing the rare Prince Henry Line traced back to Glenside, the best moving Irish Draught ever and on his mothers side to King of Diamonds the best ever jumper.

Blackthorn is the best behaved and sweetest stallion you could wish to meet. He treats his ladies well and we have never had a problem with him.

He loves to go out to show himself off hacks out alone or in the company of mares and geldings. He has maners to burn and looks to die for.

The stud fee for Blackthorn is £300 for RID mares and £350 others 

nffr applies if your mare has a heart beat scan before leaving us

Mares taken from April to August.

Grass keep £3.00 per day 3.50 with foal at foot

Stabled £10.00 per day £11.00 with foal at foot

All mares must arrive with a clean CEM certificateand  hind  shoes removed.

this will be done at the stud if not and there will be a charge.

All mares must have at  least 3rd party insurance

We will take the greatest care of your mares and foals
